The “Weeping Veil” Tea Blend

Black Tea - High Caffeine

This mourning brew is a wistful blend of Violet Black Tea and Malva Flowers. This melancholic blend is inspired by the Victorian era tradition of “Half-Mourning” (also known as the final stage of mourning). Violet shades were worn as a transitional color between stark blacks and the normal palette of colors.

Each tea is packed tightly and contains 1.3-1.5 oz of tea per 2 oz tin.

Serves approximately 10-15 six-ounce cups of tea, depending on how strong you like it!

 Preparing thy tea: Use one tsp of tea leaves per cup, add one heaping tsp for the pot. Add hot water and let stand 3-5 minutes. Stir and serve immediately. Add milk and/or sugar to taste.
