Q: I placed a pre-order. When will my item ship?
A: Please refer to the pre-order details located at the bottom of the product description. You can also visit our Pre-Order Info page for more information.
Q: I ordered a fashion item but was still charged for shipping, even though it says “$100 FREE US SHIPPING.” Why?
A: Fashion items are shipped from our overseas facility, so we unfortunately cannot offer free shipping on these products. Shipping for fashion items is charged separately. However, if your order total (excluding fashion items) is $100 or more, shipping on those items will be free. If your order doesn’t meet the $100 minimum and includes fashion items, you will incur separate shipping charges. Thank you for your understanding!
Q: I placed an order, but it hasn't shipped yet. Why is that?
A: Most of the time the reason for orders not shipping is because you have ordered a pre-order item alongside a ready to ship item. If you ordered both pre-order and in-stock items together, your entire order will ship once the pre-order item is available. If you'd like your in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing separate orders. Please note that by purchasing a pre-order item, you accept that it may ship either sooner or later than the estimated time.
Q: Can I cancel my order?
A: We aim to get all packages out within 24-48 hours of purchase. All orders (including pre-orders start processing immediately). Because of this, we can only provide cancellations in the form of shop credit ONLY.
You will receive 100% store credit (excluding shipping fees) for cancellations as long as your items have not shipped. If your order has shipped, we cannot cancel it, but we will assist you with a return. You can apply for a shop credit refund & a return label to return your product. Please note: shipping fees are non-refundable.
Please contact us immediately if you need your item cancelled.
Q: Is shipping free?
- Domestic Orders: Free shipping on U.S. orders over $100!
- International Orders: Shipping is charged separately based on weight.
- Fashion Items: Shipping for fashion items will be charged separately based on weight.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, we do! International shipping fees are calculated based on the weight of your order. Please note: we cannot reduce the declared value of international shipments to avoid customs fees, and we are not responsible for any customs duties or taxes.
Q: Do you take payment plans?
A: Yes! We offer payment plans through PayPal or Afterpay, allowing you to pay in 4 easy installments.
Q: Are all sales final? Do you do returns or refunds?
A: Yes, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges except in cases of defective items. If you receive a defective product, please contact us at petalsandpoison@gmail.com for assistance.
Q: My item was damaged and/or lost. What do I do?
A: Please contact us immediately at petalsandpoison@gmail.com. For damaged items, take photos of the damage and keep the original packaging. If eligible, you will receive a store credit refund. We do not issue refunds to the original payment method.
Q: When do you ship?
A: Most orders are processed and shipped within 1-7 business days for domestic orders, and 7-10 business days for fashion items and International orders. We strive to ship all orders within 24-48 hours.
Q: What are your items made of?

JEWELRY CARE:
Silver Jewelry:
- Store sterling silver jewelry in a dry place, preferably in the ring box provided.
- Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, perfume, or hairspray.
- Remove jewelry before washing hands, showering, or swimming.
- Clean gently with mild soap and warm water.
- Note: Tarnishing is natural and contributes to the piece’s unique "Nu Antique" look.
Gold-Plated Jewelry:
- Store gold-plated jewelry in a dry place, ideally in the provided ring box.
- Avoid exposure to chemicals, perfumes, or hairspray.
- Remove jewelry before washing hands, showering, or swimming.
- Clean gently with mild soap and warm water.
For Tarnished Gold-Plated Jewelry:
- Consider visiting a professional jeweler for replating services.
- Alternatively, apply a thin layer of clear nail polish to help prevent further tarnishing.
FRAGRANCE ALLERGY INFO:
Perfume oils are most effective when warm. To enhance their performance, gently roll the bottle between your hands and flip it a few times to mix the oils before applying to your pulse points. Avoid shaking the bottle, as this can introduce air bubbles.
Ingredients: Sweet almond oil and premium fragrance oils.
TEA ALLERGY INFO
Our facility is not allergen-free or gluten-free. While we take precautions to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are free from allergens.
Tree Nuts: Some blends may contain tree nuts. We use separate equipment for allergen-specific ingredients to minimize cross-contact.
Gluten:
- Teas: Most are gluten-free, but always check the full ingredient list.
- Flavorings: All flavorings are gluten-free.
- Herbs: We source gluten-free herbs, but some suppliers do not make formal gluten-free claims, so we cannot guarantee 100% certainty.
HOT CHOCOLATE INFO
Our facility is not allergen-free or gluten-free.
Tree Nuts: Some blends may contain tree nuts. We take care to prevent cross-contamination by using separate scoops and mixing bins.
Please review the ingredient list for each non-vegan hot chocolate before purchasing.
VEGAN HOT CHOCOLATE INFO
Natural Flavor Powder (With Sugar):
- Contains: Dextrose, Natural Flavors
- Vegan, Kosher, and Gluten-Free
Sugar-Free Flavor Powder:
- Contains: Gum Acacia, Natural Flavors
OVER-FLAVORING YOUR VEGAN HOT CHOCOLATE
If your vegan hot chocolate tastes "medicinal" or "minty," or if you experience a lingering taste after drinking, you may have over-flavored it. We recommend starting with a small amount of flavor powder—remember, a little goes a long way!
